Synopsis:

A young war veteran explores the magnificent wilds of New Zealand while reliving a haunting memory from his past. It is a powerful film about friendship, loss, and healing.

Biographies:



An award-winning Seattle screenwriter, Kristi made her directorial debut with her short film "Something Special." In addition to being a finalist in the Your Big Break screenwriting and filmmaking competition for "Something Special," she also won the Great American Short Screenplay Contest with her script "Aurora."

Kristi is a passionate filmmaker with a deep interest in global affairs. Combining her screenwriting experience with her graduate degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution, she is devoted to using the unique power of film to move people, provoke thought, and showcase important global issues.


Barrie Osborne, Executive Producer

Barrie Osborne is an internationally renowned movie producer, executive producer, production manager, and director. He is most well known for "The Lord of the Rings" films and won an Academy Award for the film The "Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" with Sir Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh. Other notable films he has produced include "The Matrix," "Face/Off," and "Dick Tracy." 

Barrie currently lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
